  4. Bill P on July 31, 2021 at 9:22 pm

Don’t wear a pink Izod polo with mint green shorts and crocs. That’s the uniform of the day in Austin. And don’t hog the left lane on four lane hiways. Pass and move over.

Thumbs up really good video. Wyoming doesn’t have summer it has 3 months of bad skiing.

Aloha, I wanted to know if Wyoming has a dangerous highway that should be avoided? We wanted to travel to the Grand Teton National Park but we are not sure which highway would be the best route.

  11. Lewis on July 31, 2021 at 9:33 pm

June and September snow….A really short growing season for a backyard garden… guess having a barn thats half greenhouse makes sense there 🙂 A lonely Frenchmen named the Tetons … guess what that word means? 🙂

  12. Tawny Parker on July 31, 2021 at 9:34 pm

Wyoming sounds like my kinda place. Plus the kind of speed limits we’re used to in Texas! Hoping to visit next summer!

I totally smoked a jackalope with my truck. Sorry Wyoming. Also, I don’t get cell service in Wisconsin, why would I expect Wyoming to even have internet.

To the incredible folk of Wyoming, what an amazing place. My family and I visited Laramie and beauty spots around. We come from the Countryside in what we call "The West country" in the United Kingdom. We very much enjoyed our visit to your beautiful country, Thank You all for your hospitality, Regards the Hamilton Family.

  21. Elena on July 31, 2021 at 9:41 pm

Shit … I want to move here . I have always wanted to live in Wyoming

  22. rcud1 on July 31, 2021 at 9:41 pm

"Don’t expect to have cell service"? LOL – that applies for most the entire western US outside of most cities and larger towns. You’ll be lucky to get a text msg off most the time. Doesn’t matter which provider either.

  23. roger wilco on July 31, 2021 at 9:42 pm

Wyoming is a beautiful state – but never become injured or need state services-you will find out how broke this state is, Absolutely pathetic. And don’t mention the wind

  24. Phillip Brewster on July 31, 2021 at 9:44 pm

Let me save you some time the whole jist of this video, have basic common sense…

  25. Sharon Hall on July 31, 2021 at 9:45 pm

Excellent points. Don’t trust your GPS in Wyoming. Use a paper map – this is when it’s good to be old fashioned. I went online to look for a route once, and it sent me on a road that ISN’T a road.
Do plan on NOT having mobile phone service more than having it. Don’t plan on seeing cool things on any Reservations either, sadly. Yeah, you’re really not kidding about the weather! lol We can still get snow in July.

  26. mr potato of the nationofthepotatoes on July 31, 2021 at 9:45 pm

You forgot one during the winter time you kinda need to know how to drive in the snow

  27. Kevin Wilson on July 31, 2021 at 9:45 pm

I hope you all know that 🖕Jackson🙄 isn’t the only damned place in Wyoming. There are other parts and other beautiful and historic areas. I can name at least 5 places without any thought. That don’t involve Jackson or Yellowstone Park. Don’t get me wrong Yellowstone is cool but Jackson is a tourist hellhole it’s expensive, cliqeish, and overrated. And why is someone who’s obviously not from Wyoming is teaching about it. Some of this information is assumptions based on statistics rather than experiences. Do not make assumptions about social interaction based on this video. As far as weather, finance and other stuff he pretty accurate. But his social experiences are in Jackson with the refined and wealthy. Many places in Wyoming aren’t inhabited by those people it’s populated by miners and oilfield workers who are a little more rough and tumble but if your respectful they will be but if not, don’t be surprised if you act like an ass if your quickly treated like one.

  28. Donald Talton on July 31, 2021 at 9:48 pm

Been there, done that, got the T shirt & ball cap. Jackson Hole was my favorite place (Yellowstone) Only met a handful of "natives" most were transplanted from Cali. or points east. Yep, there are 80 MPH winds! I think the Federal Dept. of Corrections is the largest employer in the state?

  29. Morla on July 31, 2021 at 9:49 pm

I thought Wyoming locals didn’t want outsiders

  30. Gwen Aoife Swan on July 31, 2021 at 9:50 pm

"They allow women to vote…" Seriously!!! When was this shot in 1920?

  31. EL Cid on July 31, 2021 at 9:54 pm

    Keep Wyoming WYOMING

  32. Johnny Patterson on July 31, 2021 at 9:58 pm

If the wind is so bad have a word with that gothic rockstar badboy KingCobraJFS and he will sort it out with his magic.

  33. Bradley Smith on July 31, 2021 at 9:59 pm

When you mentioned animals and roads, I laughed. When I was there those prairie dogs would run in the middle of the road and stand up on its back feet and just watch you hit them lol. Poor lil guy committed

  34. Farid on July 31, 2021 at 10:01 pm

And don’t forget to mention the gun culture mixed with their huge meth problem.

  42. Tony Rain on July 31, 2021 at 10:07 pm

The magic of Professor Wolters teaching is statements like " You’re much more tasty then a chicken sandwich" His words have a gentle way of touching your soul that you can’t help but to absorb his message as soon as you tune into his frequency.

  43. Omar Lopez on July 31, 2021 at 10:07 pm

Your kids are always so tanned lol another awesome video the Wolter Family! You should ride a bull next time haha

  44. Russ Lilly on July 31, 2021 at 10:09 pm

They really do call each other ”cowboy” as in "Hey cowboy, how’s it going? ”’ In fact, the locals are so friendly at first I was convinced people were mistaking me for someone in town they knew….and a couple ranchers were more than kind about hauling our survey truck out when stuck in a dried up creek bed thought incorrectly to be an old road, or high c’ed on a wellhead access road. Weather? Best advice: get out of the backcountry ahead of it. There were stories about gear that was stuck all winter until spring. I’m just sorry I didn’t get off the treadmill and settle in close to a ranch family we met and their little hunting lodge. So be careful: you just may find things to love there and learn how to spend time visiting around a pickup truck bed on a fragment of the Oregon Trail some chilly morning .

Speaking of altitude, tourists from lower elevations need to be cautious about their movements. Their lung capacities are most lkely not capable of getting enough oxygen in the high altitudes so take care for your health. I grew up there and I miss it. It is a wonderful state.

  46. Isabella Akhtarshenas on July 31, 2021 at 10:10 pm

    love your channel!

  47. Pat and Sandy Trierweiler on July 31, 2021 at 10:10 pm

Really great advice. One more don’t….Whenever passing a Wyoming rest stop, don’t forget to ask everybody if they might need to stop. same goes for big truck strops and "Kum and Go". The distances between services can be large….especially for the kids.

  48. Johan on July 31, 2021 at 10:13 pm

I’d like to visit sometime. Not scared of the gun culture, but am scared that they don’t have any good local beer.

  49. Morla on July 31, 2021 at 10:14 pm

Besides Thermopolis, what other region is warm/hot in Wyoming?

  50. lackra12 on July 31, 2021 at 10:15 pm

Based on the comments, Wyoming people aren’t as friendly and helpful as promoted in this video 😕
